Todd Erickson joins Studio Float as Director of Sales & Marketing as the Company looks to expand its global distribution network.

14th March 2023. HANOVER, MA: Acoustic isolation specialist Studio Float has appointed Todd Erickson as Director of Sales & Marketing, as the business pushes ahead with the next stage of its growth strategy.

Studio Float specializes in noise and vibration control products and the design and specification of appropriate systems for a wide range of architectural sound isolation projects.

Erickson’s primary focus is to drive the growth of Studio Float in North America, by building sales of its affordable, high performance decoupling devices in multiple market verticals, including professional studios, post-production, hospitality, education, commercial, leisure and domestic installation. He will also be responsible for driving forward the expansion of the Company’s global distribution network by developing relationships with key stakeholders.

Todd Erickson joins Studio Float as new Sales & Marketing Director

With a professional background as a musician/producer/engineer and extensive mechanical engineering experience, Erickson brings a wealth of broad and diverse knowledge to the role.

“Sound isolation and room tuning are always major concerns of most architects, engineers, building developers, and studio operators,” says Erickson. “Floating walls, ceilings and floors remains the most effective way of reducing sound transmission and vibration from room to room, and I’ve spent many years working on anything from low-budget DIY remodels up to multi-million dollar commercial builds. I believe that quiet buildings make better buildings, and even better neighbors – and I carry this ethos with me into my new role.”
